“We are all recovering little by little but we can’t rule out celebrating some special days like Xmas and New year, so, in order to boost the moral of our people for the festival, especially the less privileges, I decided to help them with cash to finance the merriments of their family, i empathise with them in their struggle to make ends meet. Hence, the cash gift shows that they are not alone ,” the lawmaker said.
The lawmaker who was represented by Prince Falana Adebowale, the Personal Assistance to COS, at the presenting the cash gift at second phase of the distribution said, this was necessary in other to ease ease the Xmas and New Year celebration’s financial burden of his people.
Some of the beneficiaries, who spoke with Newsmen, expressed gratitude to the lawmaker.
In his words, one of the beneficiaries, Irabor Michael described the lawmaker as a “humble and kind hearted person” who is “keeping up to his promises.”
