INSECURITY: Two OOU Students Abducted By Unknown Gunmen In Ogun

Some unknown gun men have kidnapped two 300level students of the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State at the Faculty Of Agriculture, yewa Campus.

Adeyemo Precious of department of Wildlife Management  and Oyefule Abiola of department of Agric Economics were at tye late hours of sunday around Igbole Aibo area, Ayetoro Yewa, Yewa North Local Government.

The victims were abducted at about 9pm on Sunday when the attackers stormed Igbole Aibo Quarter area of Ayetoro, in Yewa North Local Government Area of State and fired several shuts before taking the captives away just when they were going back home.

The Deputy Registrar, Corporate Affairs Unit of the OOU, Mr. Niyi Oduwole, confirmed the abduction, describing it as unfortunate.
Oduwole said that the university management are working on the situation and collaborating with relevant people to ensure victims safe return.

He said: “the incident is most unfortunate. The university is beefing up security around all our campuses and hostels.

However, The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has been making serious effort, tasked the federal government to secure the release of Kaduna kidnapped school students, at this level, secure of the county has become the duty of all.
