A Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and an ally of Governor Seyi Makinde, the Agba-Akin of Olorunda Abaa, Oloye Benedict Akika has fulfill his promise by grading the 2nd phase of Idi-Ape, Olosun Olorunda Abaa roads.
This is in line with his “touch one touch all mission”, in assisting area’s government couldn’t reach, further ensuring that he assist the government both local, and state by breathing ease in communities day-to-day dealings.
The renowned philanthropist has over the years organise different types of empowerment programs, Free Medical Outreach, All expense paid surgeries across different local government Areas in the State.
“Residents, motorist and car owners in Idi-Ape, Olosun Olorunda Abaa road have been having a tough time plying those roads to their various destinations, especially during this raining season, it’s only ideal we do everything within our capacity to ameliorate the situation of our people, government can’t do everything”, he said.
“With this palliative work done, we believe the road would be more convenient for the users, while we’ll keep drawing government attention to our Fedders roads “.
Oloye Benedict Akika had couple of weeks ago graded the first phase of 3 linked roads, within Olorunda Abaa in Lagelu local government Area, the second phase has been completed today to further give residents ease in carrying out their daily activities without going through potholes that has been a constant menace adding to stressful day at work.
While appreciating Alhaji Latinwo, the Political head of Lagelu local government, for his support in the process, He described him as a man who’s passionate about development of the communities under his watch and always provide the neccesary supports for development of his domain.
He thereby called on all well meaning individuals and corporate bodies to always strive to assist residents of their immediate community and by extension, the state at large, adding that government can’t be everywhere at the same time, little efforts from individual would compliment the efforts of government to ensure that people won’t have to go through hardship.
