In commemoration of the 1st coronation anniversary of His Imperial Majesty, Oba Dr. Sen. Mohood Olalekan Balogun, Alli Okunmade II, the House of Representatives member representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Hon. Prince Olaide Akinremi popularly known as Jagaban has written to congratulate the Olubadan of Ibadanland.
Prince Akinremi Jagaban in a statement he personally signed stated that, “It is with great delight that I congratulate my father and our highly revered Kabiyesi on this joyful occasion of his 1st coronation anniversary as the Olubadan of Ibadanland today Saturday 11th March 2023.
I celebrate, and thank God Almighty for enabling His Imperial Majesty, Oba Dr. Sen. Mohood Olalekan Balogun, Alli Okunmade II mark this very important anniversary, which is a landmark occasion in his life and in the life of all sons and daughters of Ibadanland across the world.
Today we rejoice because our erudite and exemplary Olubadan is able to celebrate his first year on the throne of our ancestors amidst peace, progress, unity and understanding among our people, as well as with other inhabitants of Ibadanland with whom we continue to establish stronger engagements and relationships.
Sons and daughters of Ibadanland have continued to flourish, taking laudable steps and breaking new grounds of great social, political and economic impacts at this time, and we must understand that the continued progress of Ibadanland under the reign of Oba Dr. Mohood Olalekan Balogun is worthy of celebration.
It is my profound prayers that God Almighty who has graciously placed Oba Dr. Mohood Olalekan Balogun, Alli Okunmade II on the Olubadan of Ibadanland throne will grant him the grace to celebrate more coronation anniversaries on earth.
May his years be long, may his reign be continually fruitful and may Ibadanland continue to move forward, amen”.
