The Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon Adebo Ogundoyin has dissolved all 36 standing Committtees of the 9th Assembly.
The Speaker announced the dissolution on Thursday during the Valedictory Session of the House.
According to Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, the dissolution was inline with the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The Speaker commended all Committee Heads and members for their efforts which he said led to the outstanding successes recorded by the 9th Oyo State House of Assembly.
The Speaker added that despite the limited number of staff in the Oyo State House of Assembly, the 9th Assembly was able to achieve enviable results through dint of hard work and dedication.
