The newly appointed Chairman of Oyo Pilgrim Welfare Board Chairman Muslim Wing, Sheik Hashim Atere has paid a courtesy visit to Sheikh Mur’tadho Akanbi Olanase in appreciation of his contributions to Muslim Ummah.
The meeting between the two Muslim cleric’s centered on partinent Issues concerning the Operations of Hajj in Oyo State, and how to foster a working relationship between NAHCON and Oyo State.
Sheikh Mur’tadho Akanbi Olanase thanked Governor Seyi Makinde for the Appointment, adding that Sheik Hashim Atere’s Appointment will further strengthen the Muslim Ummah, “We can’t but appreciate Makinde for giving we ‘Muslims’ listening ears, though religion may defer he’s the first governor who have been able to balance religion while running his government, We pray that Allah Continue to gives him more wisdom, guide and protect him as he strives to sustain the development he has brought to Oyo State in the last four years.
The Chairman of Oyo State Pilgrims Board, Sheikh Hashim Atere assured Baba Olanase and the entire Alfas in the State that their Opinion Suggestions and concerns would be welcomed. He lay emphasis on total commitment to ensuring a smooth and successful 2024 Hajj Operations, assuring Pilgrims Safety, Comfort and a spiritually enriching experience for all Oyo State pilgrims.
Renowned scholar, Sheikh Mur’tadho Akanbi Olanase shared his perspectives on the Hajj exercise and tabled his recommendations that would assist the Chairman in achieving success, adding that Governor Seyi Makinde deserves nothing less than success in all Strater of government, Our collective efforts will bring about the success of Omituntun 2.0
The Chairman was accompanied by the Chief Imam, Omituntun Central Mosque, Sheikh Imam Mojeed Adebayo Olanase who acknowledged the contribution of his Boss, Governor Seyi Makinde over the years and prayed for him for more wisdom to driving Oyo State to the promised Land.
