Hon. Sunday Fadiran, the Atiba Local Government House Leader, has dismissed impeachment rumour.
In a statement personally signed and made available to the press and the Leadership of the Party. He stated that, “as the incumbent leader of the house, I presided over the sitting earlier today and of course, some issues were raised discussed and nothing like impeachment was discussed & carried out today”
“The statement of the impeachment is a misplaced one, unfounded and was just a move by some set of people to cause unrest in the council”
“As a matter of fact, if there were any allegations to talk about, I believe the place of constitution & bye laws is specific and so clear, there are proceedings and protocols of every businesses of the LegislativeArm, so any allegations at all should be discussed on due course”
“I still remain the Leader of the Legislative Arm and the activities of the house is under my leadership and very much incharge”
“I call on the Party Executive Committee, Leaders of the Party & good people of Atiba local government to disregard any statement of impeachment in the council, it’s unfounded and fabricated story that has no source” he remarked.
