The lawmaker representing Ibadan North Constituency 2 in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Adebayo Babajide Gabriel, popularly known as the Jagaban of the 9th and 10th Assembly, has congratulated Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, Arusa 1, on his enthronement as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.
Babajide Gabriel described Kabiyesi as a rare gem whose political, economic, and cultural contributions to Ibadan and Oyo State remain indelible.
“Today, Ibadanland crowns a king who is not only revered in politics and business but also in character, humility, and wisdom.
Oba Ladoja has shown us that true leadership is service, and his reign will no doubt inspire generations to come,” Gabriel noted.
He emphasized that Ibadan North Constituency 2 is particularly delighted because Kabiyesi has always been a voice for fairness, justice, and inclusiveness, values which resonate deeply with the people of his constituency.
“As Kabiyesi ascends the throne, I pray for long life, divine wisdom, and prosperity.
May his reign bring Ibadanland the unity and greatness it truly deserves,” Gabriel prayed.
