The Founder Omi-tuntun Benedict Forum has again organize a free medical outreach and empower residents of Abayomi, Olagoke Akano Street, Iwo-road Ibadan North East.
The Agba-Akin of Olorunda Abaa has over the last few years organize free medical outreach accros local government Areas in Ibadan metropolis, with the sole aim of ensuring that the masses who can’t afford medical bills, treatment of various ailments get it for free, comprehensive test are conducted, and free treatments are given, cases of operation such as hernia, fibroid and other related sicknesses are giving rapt attention and all expense paid surgeries are made by the benevolence of Chief Benedict Akika Over the years.
Addressing the crowd before the commencement of the medical outreach, Chief Benedict Akika Said “I was born and raised in this community, it’s important that i give back to the environment that has given me so much, We’ve done various types of empowerment programs here in the past, we’ve decided to bring this medical outreach here to ensure that everyone who could not afford their medical bills get it for free. “I want to assure everyone here that no matter the sickness or ailment, if it requires medical experts we will fit the bills and ensure such person gets back to his/her feet. he also advise residents not to hide under any fear of victimization and allow shame riune their chances but come out bold and explain how they feel to medical experts and get free treatments.
“We will continue in our own little way to assist the government of our ever working Governor, His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde, While also calling on all well doing individuals to try and assist the people in any little way they can”.
A total of 1,648 persons benefited from the free healthcare programs, twenty Persons benefited from the cash gifts, while man popularly known as Atorise was given a big generating set to help his business.
A beneficiary Mrs Ololade Adetunji appreciate the kind gesture of the founder of Omi-tuntun Benedict Forum, Chief Benedict Akika for reaching out to them in their time of need, “This gesture came at a time many of us need medical treatment, it’s an opportunity we will remain grateful for, “I’ve problem with my sight and after examination, i was given drugs and a medicated contact lense, this will help my sight tremendously, i thank our benefactor for this wonderful opportunity, and pray that God guide his path and answer all his secret prayers.
Another beneficiary of Cash gift, Mrs Ilori Rachel said “honestly this will be the first time i will be benefiting from an empowerment program, i had no idea i will be given anything before now, I’m very happy as you can see, it’s a very huge sum, an amount only people with the heart of gold can give out at this time, I pray that God in his infinite mercy’s continue to increase him and bless everything he lay his hands upon.
The beneficiary of a generating set Pastor Samuel Iseoluwa, who has a Barbing salon ‘Atorise Barbing Salon’ at the Area, said “words can’t express how elated i am right now, I’ve been saving for months now, just to get this generator, and now I’m an owner of a big generating set, my plan was to get a small one that will aide my business, I pray that the pocket that bless me with this never dry.
The Ibadan North East local government Chairman Hon. Akintayo Ibrahim, while addressing the people , appreciate Chief Benedict Akika for reaching out to his people, adding that only a healthy person can exercise their right, while also enjoying them to utilize the opportunity and explain in details whatever symptoms they’re experiencing to the medical experts, He also use the opportunity to call for the continue support for the Administration of Governor Seyi Makinde, while also seeking for their support in the forthcoming electioneering period for all it’s Candidates at all levels.
