THE Presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, yesterday said he would build a new Nigeria that every citizen would be proud of if voted into power as president next year.
He said his government would secure and unite the country and move nation from a consumption to production economy.
Speaking in Ibadan at a rally at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Obi lauded elder statesman, Pa Ayo Adebanjo, for his support.

He noted that Nigeria’s next president should not be about religion or ethnicity, describing participants at the gathering as lovers of good governance.
He denied claims in some quarters that he hated the All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, saying he stood behind the one-time Lagos governor in the past.
LP National Chairman Julius Abure said the Southwest has shown that they want change with the turnout at the rally.
