The Olugbon of Orile Igbon, Oba Francis Alao, has expressed confidence that Nigeria would redeem its lost glory under President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
Speaking on Saturday, the Oyo monarch told citizens to expect a nation free of corruption as well as greater dividends of democracy.
Oba Alao made the remarks during the sixth-year anniversary of his coronation and the inauguration of his new palace.
The event, which also celebrated his 60th birthday, witnessed the installation of some prominent individuals with traditional titles.
The king noted that the people could see the “laudable things” Tinubu has been doing since his inauguration on May 29..
Oba Alao said the Nigerian leader has shown that true governance is possible, “and he has the capacity for it.”.
“There will be no corruption anymore. Tinubu is going to bring governance to the doorstep of every Nigerian.
“Before Asiwaju clocks 100 days in office, a lot of changes would have been made in this country,” he predicted.
The monarch added that “the youth, young, old, the haves and the have-nots” will feel the President’s impact.
Governor Seyi Makinde was coronated as Aare Orile Igbon of Igboland, while Oyo former First Lady was installed as Yeye Oba Olugbon of Orile Igbon.
