Chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibadan North local government area of Oyo State on Monday accompanied the consensus Chairmanship candidate, Hon Seun Olufade as he picked up his nomination form at the state party secretariat, Molete, Ibadan.
Recall that Ibadan North PDP stakeholders had on Sunday adopted Seun as the consensus candidate of the party ahead of the 2024 local polls.
Notable among the PDP leaders that accompanied the candidate to the party office include, a Commissioner nominee and Director-General of Women Mobilization for Governor Seyi Makinde re-election, Hon Toyin Balogun, Oyo State PDP Youth Leader, Hon Michael Ogunsina, founder and state coordinator of one of the most formidable groups in Oyo State PDP, The GSMist, Hon Yomi Olajide popularly known as Royal Umbrella, popular grassroot politician and youth mobilizer, Prince Falana Adebowale.
Others are, PDP ward executive chairmen, party members, well-wishers among others.
Recall that Royal Umbrella and Prince Falana had stepped down their ambition to endorse Hon Seun Olufade as the consensus candidate.
