Four persons were on Sunday feared killed and three injured after cult clashes in Ojo and Ibeju-Lekki areas of Lagos State.
It was gathered deadly clashes broke out between suspected members of Aiye and Eiye cult groups in the areas, the latest of series cult related violence going on across the state.
At Ijanikin, armed men said to be members of Eiye group stormed a bar at Amidu Igboro in Alasia and opened fire on a group of young men who were drinking.
The attack, which was said to be a reprisal, left at least three of those drinking with gunshot injuries.
One of the drinkers, alleged to have fortified himself against gunshots, was said to have been butchered with machetes and subsequently had his head smashed with a stone by the attackers.
They were said to have removed an amulet on his waist before killing him in cold blood.
At Ibeju-Lekki, The Nation gathered violent clashes have been on since Friday around Sangotedo and Eputu, which left at least three people killed.
Contacted, police spokesman, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, promised to find out and revert but was yet to do so at the time of this report.
