It was a tense and horrific situation overnight at Oremeji Agugu Ibadan when the Oodua Peoples’ Congress (OPC) unit of the area and some hoodlums popularly known as Omo Federal, clashed in the area.
A preliminary investigation to the causes of the clashed revealed that; there was a rivalry between the OPC unit of the area and Omo Federal boys leading to the death of nothing less than four people as at last confirmed by this newspaper from both rivalry side.
While security agencies have been put on standby to return normalcy in the area, the residents of the community have then been living in palpable fear as they are yet to know what is next to their security of life and property.
It should also be recalled that, this newspaper have on two different publications reported one thing or the other about the nefarious activities of ‘Omo Federal’ and other illegal activities of hoodlums in the area.
