Adebayo Babajide Gets INEC Certificate Of Return, Promises To Make Ibadan North Constituency II Proud.
The Current Honorable member Representing Ibadan North Constituency 11, Adebayo Babajide who was Re-elected for second term in office has received his certificate of return following his victory at the polls.
The JAGABAN of the Ninth Assembly as he is foundly call is the Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) who was declared winner by the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) to represent the good people of Ibadan North Constituency 11 for the second term in a roll.
Adebayo Babajide Polled a total vote of 15,679 to defend his closest challenger of the All Progressive Congress (APC) who garnered 7,222 votes.
After receiving his certificate of return today at University of Ibadan International Conference Centre, in Ibadan, Oyo State, The eleated Babajide in a chat with Newsmen correspondence harps on his determination to give his Constituents Ibadan North Constituency 11 what he called ‘quality representation’.
The returning lawmaker, described the event as the beginning of a new dawn, saying his representation would usher in the much desired prosperity.
”Having taking stock of the needs of the people, I promise to build on past representation with a view to making a difference. My representation would be people-centered with quality legislative representation of the good people of Ibadan North Constituency 11.
”I thank my constituents for finding me worthy to serve, and I promise to do all within my legislative representation to improve on the well-being of the people,” he said.
The lawmaker-elect stressed that he was not taking the opportunity for granted, but thanked God for the victory delivered by the good people of Ibadan North 2, saying he would not let them down.
He also thanked members of the PDP in the constituency, and assured them that he would be a worthy representative that would justify the confidence reposed in him.
