Agba’Akin Benedict Akika marked his birthday with a series of impactful events, culminating in the launch of the Omituntun Benedict Foundation (OBF) website. The foundation, which focuses on youth empowerment and community development, now has a digital platform for outreach and engagement at omituntunbenedictfoundation.org.
The celebration began with a special program for both Christian and Muslim communities, emphasizing unity and inclusivity. Akika also celebrated with over 200 widows, distributing food items and empowering one widow with a grinding machine. He further extended his philanthropic efforts to the OYIZA Orphanage & Foster Foundation, donating numerous food items to support the children.

Prominent figures attended the launch event at Omituntun House, Delight Estate, including Hon. AbdulWasiu Akinmoyede Olafisoye, Federal Member representing Akinyele/Lagelu, Senator Mudasiru Kamorudeen, Executive Chairman of Lagelu Local Government, and Hon. Ramata Agberemi Debo RAD, SSA to Governor Seyi Makinde on Chieftaincy and Local Government Matters. Media practitioners were also present, with notable personalities such as Oyo State NUJ Chairman Ademola Babalola and BCOS Chairperson Mrs. Dupe Feyintola.
Akika expressed his gratitude and shared his vision for OBF, stating, “Today marks a new chapter in my life, and I am committed to making a lasting impact through OBF.” He highlighted the foundation’s mission to provide mentorship, education, healthcare, and economic opportunities to the less privileged and young people.
