Uzodinma spoke on Wednesday while featuring on Channels Television’s ‘Politics Today’ programme monitored by TODAY SPLASH. Angry residents of Umuawom village, Ihodimeze community in Ikeduru council area of Imo State on Wednesday set ablaze a fleeing prisoner, who returned home from the Owerri Correctional Centre. Lecturers at The Polytechnic, Ibadan have shunned the nationwide industrial action embarked upon the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics. The union had, on Tuesday, declared an indefinite strike to demand the implementation of a new salary scheme for polytechnic lecturers.
