Gunmen on Monday killed a former chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Tafa council area of Niger State, Sule Ishaya. The killers also took away his wife. The Nation learnt that the gunmen invaded Ishaya’s house in New Bwari on Sunday night, stabbed him in the stomach with a knife before shooting him. A 30-year-old woman, Blessing Jimoh, has been arrested by men of the Ondo State Police Command for allegedly killing her mother, Ijeoma Odo. Blessing said she killed her mother with a cutlass after a Pastor said her mother was a witch. She was paraded alongside other criminals. The Pastor is said to be on the run.
