Four persons have died in a road crash along the Lagos-Ibadan highway when a driver rammed his car into a moving truck while pressing phone. The accident happened opposite Mountain Top University, around Rain Oil Petrol Station at the early hours of Saturday. It involved a Lexus RX350 car with registration number, KTU738HM, and a Mack marked, T21024LA. Condemnations have continued to trail the recent increment of acceptance fee at the University of Ibadan to N50,000. SOURCE reports that parents and various groups within and outside the university community have continued to condemn the university’s management over the increment. The acceptance fee for new students was increased from N37,000 to N50,000. The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency in Oyo State has reported the arrest of 20 drug suspects during its mop-up operations in preparation for the inauguration of the new administration on May 29. The State Commander, Mr. Olayinka Joe-Fadile, announced at a press conference in Ibadan on Saturday that the command had arrested 20 individuals, consisting of 18 males and 2 females, who were primarily drug users, and seized 2.96kg of cannabis sativa.
