It was an avalanche of tributes as the former Senior Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Hon. Kunle Yusuff (MON), on Wednesday showered encomium on the Governor Seyi Makinde, over his landmark achievements in the first term, just as he also prayed for a resounding success for the governor as his second term is about to take-off.
He equally lauded all the former aides of the Governor who cooperated with him to deliver his campaign promises as captured in the Roadmap for Accelerated Development 2019-2023.
“Please, permit me to acknowledge your tremendous political- administrative contributions to both Infrastructural and human capital development that eventually aligned Oyo State into global perspectives. As at today in Oyo State, the socio- political and economic development indicators are waxing stronger, the sustainable development goals targets are enhancing appropriate and human capital development indexes are rolling in the right directions courtesy of your leadership styles in Governance.
“Excellency Sir, It’s not an exaggeration or hyperbole to make a reference to your administration as a “Performance and Performer” with components of Logic, Science and Data.
“Thankfulness is the beginning of gratitude, while gratitude is the completion of thankfulness. As one of your appointees between 2019 and 2023, I see it as a privilege to serve you and to be knowledgeable about the State affairs.
” Many persons have the wrong ideal of what constitutes true happiness. It’s not attained through self gratification but through fidelity to a worthy purpose, I can say it authoritatively that the political relationship i have with you is full of purposefulness.
“Excellency Sir, as you are preparing for the grace of second tenure in office as the Executive Governor of Oyo State, I pray along with you for maximum protection, administrative blessings and positive relationships with the President of Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“On a related development, permit me sir, to use the immediate past Secretary to the State Government, Chief of Staff and Chairman, Advisory Council as points of contacts to applaud and appreciate fellow appointees, especially those that worked vigorously during 2019 election and those that destiny put us together in your Government sir.
