The Chairman of the Oyo State House of Assembly Service Commission, Hon. Femi Julius, has joined other prominent leaders in expressing deep sorrow over the passing of Chief Michael Adeniyi Koleoso, a former Secretary to the Oyo State Government and a respected political leader in Nigeria.
In a heartfelt condolence message, Hon. Julius described Chief Koleoso’s death as a significant loss, not only to Oyo State but to the entire nation. He noted that Chief Koleoso, who was also the Babalaje of Saki, was a beacon of leadership, integrity, and dedication, whose contributions to the political and social development of Oyo State will remain indelible.
Reflecting on the impact of Chief Koleoso’s life, Hon. Julius stated, “The passing of Baba Koleoso marks the end of an era. He was one of the last great patriots from a generation that gave their all to the service of our state and country. His wisdom, courage, and unwavering commitment to the betterment of Oyo State and Nigeria will be greatly missed.”
Hon. Julius extended his deepest condolences to the Koleoso family, the people of Saki, and all who were touched by the life of this great leader. He prayed for God’s comfort for the bereaved family and the strength to bear this irreparable loss.
Echoing the remarks expressed by Governor Seyi Makinde, Hon. His departure is a tremendous loss, but his spirit and values will remain with us,” he added.
