A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo state, ALHAJI Abdulrasheed Adebisi Olopoeyan have reportedly rejected a kind gesture from the governor of Oyo state, Engr. SEYI Makinde as gift for the ongoing Ramadan.
Chief Olopoeyan has not been in a cordial relationship with the governor for some period now and he has not hidden his displeasure to the governor.
Despite the outcome of the party’s zonal congress, all seems not yet over between the governor and his said benefactors who were material to his emergence.
Olopoeyan, according to Isaac Brown on his ongoing programme, Crossfire, on Fresh 105.9 FM, was said to have rejected the truckload of gifts.
Brown quoted Olopoeyan as saying that he rejected the gift because Makinde would not have sent him gift if he had been killed at the just concluded congress.
