A non-governmental organisations called Omo-Asoore Foundation is set to launch in Kajola local government on saturday, 17th July, as part of it’s first humanitarian activities, food items and cash will be distributed to 200 residents of Kajola local government.
Omo-Asoore Foundation is a brainchild of Hon. Tijani Sakirudeen Adeola (Asoore) a philanthropist who’s from Ilua, Kajola Local government.
The real estate dealer in his opinion believes charity is one of the core value of every individual who’s privileged to be rich in the society.
While speaking with newsmen in Okeho on Thursday, He said part of his plan for launching the organisation is to ensure that every point in time the people of Kajola remains happy and lives harmoniously.
” poverty had led many into heinous acts which are against the norms of our society, so in order to ensure a peaceful and orderly society, we need to find way to combat poverty through supports and empowerments programs, frequent social engagements and regular education of the masses about the social norms that are acceptable in our society”
“On Saturday we plan to give about 200 person food items and cash as reliefs, to cushion the effects of the hard time we’re facing in the country, in future times we plan to host programs around health, education and agriculture which will benefit our people and reduce poverty”
“We’re also in talks with organisations, especially agro allied companies that will come and invest in our local government, we have a lot raw materials that could be use to produce many things for use in the cities, we also have fertile lands for agriculture, so if big companies come in to invest, they’ll employ our people and develop our community”
The launching is scheduled to hold at the Okeho town hall.
According to him, Kajola is made up of 8 communities with Okeho as headquarter, beneficiaries of his programs will be distributed evenly across the 8 communities in the spirit of fairness.
A Residentof Okeho who spoke to us expressed gratitude to the management of Omo-Asooee Foundation for trying to put smile in the face of the people.

The event is billed to be attended by, Monarchs, political and religious leaders across Kajola.
