Three men of Jukun origin who are fishermen have been arrested in connection to last weeks attack on Benue State Governor’s convoy.
Recall that this newspaper reported last week that the governor was attacked by some unknown gun men were suspected to be fulani herdsmen.
Meanwhile, Miyeti Allah official have distant self on attack of the governor saying his people have left Benue state.
Security Adviser to Ortom, Col. Paul Hemba, confirmed the arrest while conducting newsmen round the scene of the attack on Tuesday.
Hemba stated the police team found the fishermen close to the scene of the attack and are being investigated.
