Honourable Babatunde Michael, popularly known as Professor Olubadan, has extended heartfelt Sallah greetings to the good people of Oyo State — with special recognition to Muslim faithful — as they mark the celebration of Eid al-Adha.
Hon. Babatunde, who serves as the Oyo State Coordinator of Christian Youths in Politics and was the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Chairmanship Candidate for Ido Local Government in the 2023 local elections, called on all citizens to embrace the virtues of unity, empathy, and mutual respect.

“As we celebrate this joyous Eid occasion, I extend warmest greetings to all our Muslim brothers and sisters in Oyo State and beyond,” he said.
Speaking against the backdrop of the socio-political climate in the country, Professor Olubadan stressed the need for Nigerians to look beyond religion and tribe, and instead focus on shared humanity and collective progress.
“In this crucial moment in our nation’s history and the world at large, it’s imperative we prioritize love, unity, and understanding among ourselves. Let us recognize that our diversity is a strength, not a weakness.”
He urged all to reflect on the lessons of sacrifice and compassion that Eid symbolizes, praying that the season inspires a renewed commitment to peace, cooperation, and human dignity.

“May the spirit of Eid inspire us to spread love, kindness, and compassion, fostering a sense of togetherness that transcends faith, tribe, and creed,” he added.
Hon. Babatunde Michael concluded with prayers for the continuous progress and development of Oyo State and Nigeria at large.
“May Allah’s blessings and mercy be upon us all. May this Eid celebration mark a new beginning of peace, prosperity, and increased understanding in our dear state. Eid Mubarak to our Muslim brothers and sisters!”
