Due to its ability to fold back into itself it is very easy to carry around in your case, enabling you to make quick adjustments to your reeds wherever you may be!  Ceramic blades are known to be nearly double the mineral hardness of normal steel which allows them to be honed to a very lon.

Ceramic blades are known to be nearly double the mineral hardness of normal steel which allows them to be honed to a very long lasting extra sharp edge. If you wish to sharpen your ceramic blade please use our very reasonably priced diamond sharpening stones (normal sharpening stones won't sharpen the blade and will in fact just wear away the stone!!) which you can find here.

Please note that ceramic blades are extremely hard and sharp and will stay sharp for a very long time, however, they are also brittle, meaning that if the ceramic blade experiences a hard impact (i.e. dropping the blade onto a hard floor, hitting it with a hammer, etc.) it may shatter.
