This AD-DTTC 5 1/2" probe is designed for use with CDN's DTTC series magnet-mounting digital cooking and cooling thermometers. Use it to quickly and easily swap out an existing probe or replace one that is lost. This probe features a thick needle point tip that makes it perfect for use in direct insertion applications such as when measuring the temperature of meats and other semisolid foods. The angled end makes it easy to remove when measuring is complete.<br><br>When used with a compatible digital thermometer display and control unit (sold separately), it can be used to measure temperatures between 14 and 392 degrees Fahrenheit. It also includes a 3' high-heat sensor cable that can withstand temperatures up to 716 degrees Fahrenheit.
