The first update you may notice is the new handle, which sports a dual-surface design with a slight bump out on both sides, though it is still minimalistically narrow. There is also a sleek, integrated bevel thumb rest on both sides that transitions seamlessly to the blade. But most notably, the blades have been made thicker and sport a deeper dual-bevel edge geometry that makes the knife 10% sharper than the Classic model. This also increases rigidity and increases the feeling of stability to the primary knives.  And since Global custom balances every blade with sand, each UKON knife still feels light and nimble. The modern-looking slimline storage block is an attractive exclusive to this set, and it's much more space-conscious and hygienic than traditional blocks.
