Actress cum politician, Funke Akindele, has deleted all political-related posts on her Instagram page.
Checks by The Nation slot joker123 Community on her Instagram page on Monday showed that the actress cleared all her campaign posts on the photo and video-sharing social networking service.
Akindele was the running mate to Olajide ‘Jandor’ Adediran, governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos, during the March 18 gubernatorial election.
The PDP, however, lost the election to Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the incumbent governor and candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
Sanwo-Olu secured a second term as governor of Lagos after polling 762,134 votes to win the election.
Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour of the Labour Party (LP) came second with 312,329 votes, while Jandor trailed in third place with 62,449 votes.
The Ikorodu-born actress also lost to the governor at her polling unit.
In July 2022, the actress confirmed her nomination as the Lagos link slot pragmatic state deputy governorship candidate of the PDP.
