The Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Abiodun Makinde was described as a simple, gentle, detailed , thorough and humane personality by immediate past Special Adviser on Local Government and Chieftancy Matters; Hon. Adeniyi Adeyinka Kazim ‘Bibire’.
Hon. Bibire said this in an exclusive interview at Nija Fm yesterday 27th May, 2023 in a Yoruba program tagged “Apero”.

Apero is a political analysis program where the state of our nation and state politically are being analysed critically with contribution from the citizen via telephone calls.
In his opinion when asked about his experience working with Oyo State Governor as Special Adviser on Local Government and Chieftancy Matters, Hon. Bibire said his Boss is “simple, gentle, detailed ,thorough and humane”. That those attributes contributed to an excellence performance of the governor in his first term in office; the name “Seyi Makinde is synonymous with Good Governance”
He further appreciate Gov. Makinde on the platform given to him to serve good people of Oyo State in OMITUNTUN 1.0.
And he further revealed that he learnt so much from the governor’s virtue and managerial capability in the course of his working relationship with him.
On local Government administration and performance of the local government Chairmen in the state, Hon Bibire charged the Chairmen to creatively manage the council by been a problem solver rather than blame game. He further explained that creativity comes in the way and manner each one of them work with their team to increase their “IGR” just like Gov. Makinde did with a the state IGR to enable them solve some social problem at the grassroot.
He promised the citizen of Oyo State on improved service/ performance of light up Oyo State and other social services in OMITUNTUN 2.0.
That OMITUNTUN 1.0 policies and infrastructures will be improved on in OMITUNTUN 2.0.
He also charged the good people of Oyo State to continue with their total support of Gov. Makinde’s administration.
He also said that people of Oyo State and other political party should actively participate in the forth coming local government election slated for May 2024.
