As Muslims worldwide celebrate the Hijrah 1446, a prominent philanthropist, Chief Benedict Akika, the founder of Omituntun Benedict Foundation has urged Muslims to emulate the exemplary character of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
In a statement made available to media, Chief Benedict Ibrahim Akika emphasized the importance of adopting the Prophet’s virtues, such as honesty, compassion, and selflessness. He noted that the Prophet’s character was a shining example for all humanity, and that by following his footsteps, Muslims can attain spiritual growth and success in this life and the hereafter.
The philanthropist also highlighted the significance of the Hijrah, which commemorates the Prophet’s migration from Mecca to Medina, and encouraged Muslims to seek knowledge, wisdom, and better opportunities, just as the Prophet did.
He also used the opportunity to keep promoting Islamic values and character development among young Muslims.
