In a show of solidarity and appreciation, the Supervisory Councilors of Ibadan North Local Government, including Hon. Ismail Akeem Akolawole, Hon. Sunday Olowolayemon, Hon. Eitomhen Emmanuel (Super for Environment), Hon. Raheem Olaide Sakiru, Hon. Akinbola Modinat Titilope, Hon. Musa Azeez Bakare, Hon. Muhammed Bala, Hon. Olalekan Monsurat, Hon. Babatunde Samson Ajala, Hon. Odediran Adewale, Hon. (Mrs.) Falade Funmilola, and Hon. Saidi Abayomi, have congratulated the Executive Chairman, Hon. Olufade Oluwaseun, on the occasion of his first 100 days in office. The councilors praised the Chairman’s visionary leadership and assured residents of their collective commitment to delivering good governance that would positively impact all wards in the local government.
The congratulatory message was delivered during a special session held at the Ibadan North Local Government Secretariat, Agodi. The Supervisory Councilors commended Hon. Oluwaseun for his swift and proactive approach to governance, noting that his first 100 days have been marked by tangible achievements in infrastructure development, social welfare, and security enhancements.
Speaking on behalf of the Supervisory Councilors, Hon. Eitomhen Emmanuel Kalor(Super for Environment) stated, “We are immensely proud of the strides our Chairman has made within such a short period. His dedication to addressing the pressing needs of the people, especially in areas of security, health, and infrastructure, is commendable. We stand firmly with him as he continues to transform Ibadan North and bring sustainable development to our communities.”
Hon. Kalor further emphasized that the Supervisory Councilors are committed to supporting the Chairman’s agenda, which is aimed at promoting inclusive growth and fostering good governance for the benefit of all residents. He noted that Hon. Oluwaseun’s open-door policy and collaborative approach have created a conducive environment for effective governance.
In his response, Hon. Olufade Oluwaseun expressed his gratitude to the Supervisory Councilors for their unwavering support. He reiterated his administration’s focus on delivering impactful projects that would uplift the lives of the people and ensure that Ibadan North Local Government remains a model of good governance in Oyo State.
The Chairman highlighted some of the key accomplishments within his first 100 days, which include the installation of solar street lights to enhance security, the rehabilitation of roads in strategic locations, and the distribution of welfare packages to vulnerable members of the community. He also reaffirmed his commitment to youth empowerment, healthcare improvement, and educational support as central pillars of his administration’s agenda.
“As we mark this milestone, I want to assure the good people of Ibadan North that this is only the beginning. We are determined to continue on this path of progress, and with the continued support of the Supervisory Councilors and other stakeholders, we will deliver on our promises,” Hon. Oluwaseun said.
