The quest to further ensure tight Security of lives and properties in the State, has taken another dimension as individuals has decided to help with their personal resources, in effecting the neccesary covers, and ensuring that people’s, properties are secured .
A close Ally to Gov Makinde Benedict Akika has Donated a giant gate to the good people Olagoke Akano street community, Abayomi,
bus/stop, iwo road ward 11, Ibadan North East Local government Area.
Akika as he’s foundly call took this upon himself, after the Community had tried several times to erect the gate at the entrance of the area to further proffer more security cover for them, but failed due to funds.
In his words, I grew up here, and i need no one to tell me the major challenges my people are facing, we took the decision in line with our Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde’s security plan, we first have to protect ourselves, we all know that the government has done more than any government interns of Security over the last two years, as individuals we need to aid and Support the government, because they can not do everything for us, now my people can go to be and sleep with their eyes closed.
“We will do anything within our powers to make sure that the ailing Security charllenges in the state becomes a thing of the past”.
The Chairman of the Community who could not hide his feelings thank the good guesture of Hon Benedict Akika, and promise to always follow all Security briefing in the State.
