In a move aimed at enhancing transparency and accountability in project execution, Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has signed the Oyo State Project Monitoring Agency Bill 2024 into law. The signing ceremony took place on Tuesday at the Office of the Governor, Agodi, Secretariat.
During the brief ceremony, Governor Makinde emphasized the importance of effective project monitoring, stating that it should not be conducted on a disjointed basis. He highlighted the role of the newly established agency in ensuring that Oyo State receives value for public funds expended on projects across the state.

In his remarks, Governor Makinde expressed gratitude to members of the Oyo State House of Assembly for their collaborative efforts with his administration. He underscored the significance of their partnership in ensuring that the Oyo State Government continues to deliver good governance to the people of the state.
