The political landscape of Oyo State has been thrown into mourning following the death of Chief Yekini Adeojo, a revered statesman and traditional leader.
Chief Adeojo, who passed away on Friday morning in Ibadan, was the former Deputy National Chairman (South) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). He was widely respected as one of the founding pillars of the PDP in Oyo State and held the revered traditional title of Seriki Musulumi of Yorubaland.

Beyond politics, Chief Adeojo was a deeply rooted chieftain in Ibadan and a father figure to many. He is also the father of Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, the current Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government.
