In a heartbreaking turn of events, a student of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Oyo State, identified as Adedokun Basit Olamilekan, has met his untimely demise after being fatally stabbed, According to MOUTHPIECE NGR.
Source revealed that the tragic incident occurred on Thursday night, sending shockwaves through the university community.
Sources revealed that the deceased, who was known to run a business outfit called DCrown Unisex Salon in the Under-G students’ area, was involved in an altercation with unidentified individuals, during which he was stabbed.
Adedokun Basit Olamilekan, described as a 200-level student in the Department of Information Science, was rushed to the nearest hospital following the altercation, but tragically, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
Eclat Media, in a Facebook post, mourned the loss, stating, “Adedokun Basit Olamilekan, a student of LAUTECH and the CEO of DCrown Unisex Salon, was reportedly stabbed to death by unknown individuals at the Under G area during a disagreement.”
The post further revealed that the victim’s sister had confirmed the tragic news, and the case had been reported to the Owode Police Station in Ogbomoso, Oyo State.
While investigations are underway, security agents have confirmed the incident, although it remains unclear whether it is linked to cult activities.
