The Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission (OGSIEC) has released the most anticipated local government election timetable and guidelines into the 20 local government areas in Ogun State today.
According to the Commission Chairman, Mr. Babatunde Osibodu, stakeholders are hereby enjoined to give their support and cooperation to the Commission, so as to organise and conduct free, fair, credible and transparent local government election in Ogun State.RELATED POSTS

The statement reads;
- In consonance with section 10(1) Ogun State Electoral law 2007, the general public is hereby informed that election into the office(s) of Chairmen and Councillors of the Twenty (20) Local Government in Ogun State will be conducted on Saturday, 31st July, 2021.
- All registered Political Parties are required to purchase Nomination Form on behalf of their candidates of the Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission (OGSIEC) at its headquarters at Oke-Ilewo, Ibara, Abeokuta, not later than Friday, 4th June, 2021
