With just a few hours to the 2024 local government elections in Oyo state, many political pundits are of the opinion that the decisive electoral process and eventual emergence of Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is an event that would signal the end of the All Progressive Congress’ presence in Ibadan North.
This is envisaged to be a critical blow, and a situation sealing the fate of the APC in rendering many leaders and gladiators of the opposition party in Ibadan North to political relegation or oblivion. There is no reason, other than the projected track records and success of the incoming administration under Olufade Oluwaseun whose political trajectory and blueprint have attracted and endeared him to many residents, corporate bodies and the political family, irrespective of leanings.
