The Chairman of the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, Hon. Adebowale Adebayo Falana, has extended warm congratulations to His Imperial Majesty, Oba Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja Arusa 1, on his official coronation as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland today.
In a statement released and made available to newsmen by the Head of Media Unit to the Chairman, Opeyemi Rasheed Socrates, Adebowale described the occasion as “historic and spiritually significant.”

He praised the ascension of Oba Ladoja as a moment of pride not just for Ibadan indigenes, but for all Yoruba sons and daughters worldwide. He noted that the former governor’s elevation to the revered throne reflects divine favor and a lifetime of selfless service to the people.
Falana used the medium to applaud the approval and confirmation of Oba Ladoja by His Excellency Engr ‘Seyi Makinde for the continuous progress of Ibadanland.

“Oba Ladoja’s coronation is more than a traditional rite, it is the crowning of wisdom, resilience, and unshakable commitment to the progress of Ibadanland”.
“The youth of Oyo State see in him a royal father who embodies integrity, vision, and the courage to lead with compassion.”
Adebowale also commended Oba Ladoja’s long-standing dedication to public service and good governance, describing him as a leader whose reign will bridge generations and foster inclusive development.

“As Chairman of the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, I am especially optimistic that under Oba Ladoja’s leadership, the voices and aspirations of young people will continue to find expression. His reign will no doubt inspire the youth to embrace our culture, pursue education, and contribute meaningfully to society,” he added.
The coronation ceremony in top gear today, shall be attended by top dignitaries, traditional rulers, political leaders, and a wide cross-section of the public.
As Ibadan steps into a new chapter under its new monarch, Hon. Adebowale called on all stakeholders, especially the youth, to rally behind the Olubadan in preserving the city’s heritage and promoting unity and development across the land.
