The Oyo State Government, through the Post Primary Schools Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), has announced the commencement date for the much-anticipated Computer Based Test (CBT) for over 50,000 applicants seeking teaching positions in public secondary schools.
In a circular signed by the Permanent Secretary of TESCOM, Haroon Lawal, on behalf of the Executive Chairman, Pastor Akin Alamu, the government revealed that the CBT will begin on Monday, 29th July, 2024.
“I wish to inform you that the Commission has approved the commencement of the Computer Based Test (CBT) for recruitment of Teaching Staff into all public secondary schools in the state from Monday, 29th July, 2024,” stated the circular.
The announcement brings clarity and sets the stage for the next phase in the recruitment process, as thousands of applicants prepare to compete for teaching roles in Oyo State’s public secondary schools.
