As schools across Oyo State resume for the third term of the 2024/2025 academic session, the Executive Chairman of Oluyole Local Government, Asiwaju Akeem Olatunji, has warmly welcomed all pupils and students back to the classroom, charging them to embrace learning with renewed zeal and purpose.
In a goodwill message delivered through the office of the Supervisor for Education, Hon. Yusuf Toheeb Adewale, the council boss emphasized the invaluable role education plays in shaping the future of young people, quoting the inspirational words of George Washington Carver: “Education is the key to unlock the golden door of freedom.”

Asiwaju Olatunji, in his address, expressed excitement and optimism about the new academic term, describing it as a fresh opportunity for growth, learning, and positive change. He encouraged students to approach the term with curiosity, bravery, kindness, and focus.
“As we embark on this new journey,” he said, “let us remember to:

- Be curious and ask questions,
- Be brave and take positive risks,
- Be kind and support one another, and
- Stay focused on our academic goals.”
The chairman further urged parents, guardians, and teachers to continue playing their critical roles in nurturing the leaders of tomorrow, assuring that his administration remains committed to promoting quality education and creating a conducive environment for academic excellence.
He concluded by wishing all students a fruitful and positively unforgettable term, reiterating the administration’s resolve to invest in educational development for the betterment of Oluyole Local Government and Oyo State at large.
