Former France international, Zinedine Zidane, has reportedly been offered a blank chequebook by Paris Saint-Germain to become the club’s new manager.
According to El Nacional, PSG are obsessed with pursuing Zidane and the club’s president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has met with current head coach Christophe Galtier and informed him he won’t be in charge of the team next season.
The PSG board are convinced that Zidane is the ideal manager to take over at Parisians.
As a result, they have resumed talks with Zidane, a former Real Madrid manager.
PSG hierarchy are willing to offer the Frenchman a blank chequebook to secure his arrival ahead of next season and would not border on giving him an astronomical salary that would make him the world’s best-paid manager.
Zidane has been out of management since 2021, when he left Real Madrid for a second time.
