The 63years-old Arapaja enjoys the support of Oyo State Governor and PDP Leader in the South-West, Engineer Seyi Makinde and some Political Stalwarts from the Region Without doubt, Makinde has a lot of influence in the party. This might give Arapaja an edge over his main challenger, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola.

Vast Political Experience
Prior to his emergence as the National Vice-chairman (South-West) of the PDP in April 2021, The Ibadan-born Politician has previously held Top Political Positions including a Two-term Council Chairman, House of Representatives Member, Deputy Governor and later Nigeria’s Ambassador to the Republic of Jordan and Iran. Therefore, He has a requisite Experience in Politics.
