Residents of over 1000 houses marked for demolition on the two sides of the ongoing Circular Road project staged a peaceful protest on Sunday in Ibadan; The state government had earlier demolished over 600 houses that fell within Ona Ara Local Government axis of the project. Terrorists on Sunday night kidnapped 87 people after launching a fresh attack on the Kajuru-Station community in Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State. A member of the Kajuru-Station Youths, Harisu Dari, confirmed the incident to our correspondent on Monday in Kaduna. No fewer than 17 out of the existing 24 Deposit Money Banks may be unable to meet the Central Bank of Nigeria’s capital requirement if it is increased from its current N25bn, according to a report by Ernst and Young.
