The Oyo State Police Command has said that the 2020 recruitment exercise has been scheduled to continue to the next phase as exercise resumes after the about 10, 000 applicants who applied have gone through the first phase of screening by the police authority.
This was as the Oyo State Police Commissioner, CP Ngozi Onadeko, in a press statement signed by the State Command’s Police Public Relation Officer (PPRO) DSP Adewale Osifeso and made available to Sunrisebulletin.com said that already screened applicants for the 2020 Nigerian Police Force Recruitment should proceed for their Computer Based Test (CBT).
The CBT which has been scheduled to be conducted by the West African Examination Council (WAEC) for only successful candidates at the physical and academic exercise also added that the CBT in Oyo state will hold at the University of Ibadan between Friday 29th and Saturday 30th October, 2021.
CP Onadeko who noted that the resumption of the exercise was at the directive of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, charged applicants to conduct themselves orderly and peacefully at the CBT Centre in order to guarantee the successful completion of the screening exercise.
“The Oyo State Police Command wishes to inform the general public, particularly those who have been screened for the 2020 Nigeria Police Force Recruitment exercise, that the process is fully back and operational in line with the directives of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Usman Alkali Baba psc (+), NPM, fdc.
“In furtherance to the above, a Computer Based Test (CBT) has been scheduled Nationwide to be conducted by West African Examination Council for applicants that were successful during the physical/academic screening exercise.
“Consequently, only Successful applicants under Oyo State who have been categorized into two distinctive batches and are to proceed to “University of Ibadan CBT Centre”, Ibadan, Oyo State on Friday 29th-Saturday 30th October, 2021 for the exercise.
“While extending the best wishes of the Commissioner of Police, Oyo State Police Command, CP Ngozi Onadeko fdc, candidates are advised to be disciplined and conduct themselves appropriately before, during and after the process.” The statement reads.
