There is heavy security beef up at the Oke Ado, Ibadan Secretariat of the All Progressive Congress(APC) in Oyo State.
Two mobile police vans and armed officers were seen at the Secretariat.
The party was initially scheduled to hold its State Congress today.
But indications emerged that the congress may still have to wait longer as discrepancies have trailed the delegate list.
A meeting scheduled for the Secretariat has not started as at 11:30am when our source visited.
Security operatives in camouflage were stationed at strategic locations but the party Secretariat has not been sealed up.
Although, the Secretariat was not sealed, entry was subjected to checks and identification by the security operatives on ground.
It was gathered that a directive to subject entry into the party Secretariat was issued by the party leaders to prevent possibility of unsuspecting intruders taking it over.
