The Osun State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party on Thursday nominated the suspended state chairman of the party, Soji Adagunodo for the position Zonal Chairman of the party in the South West.
GOALPOACHER NEWS had reported earlier that Soji Adagunodo was being tipped as replacement for Ambassador Taofiq Arapaja who was elected as PDP Deputy National Chairman (South) at the recently held national convention in Abuja on October 30-31, 2021.
According to Mouthpiece NGR, the decision to nominate Adagunodo was reached after an extensive meeting of Elders/Leaders of the party held at the residence of former Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola.
The letter addressed to the leader of the party, Governor Seyi Makinde reads:

However the meeting also agreed on total withdrawal of all Court Cases bordering on the leadership of the Party. Suffice that with this development all disputes on Osun State Chapter leadership has been resolved amicably and the party united as one big family.
We have seriously considered and put the progress of Osun State Chapter of PDP into consideration and taking into cognizance, the fact that we have election in the next few months and also that we have a new wave of peace by bringing everybody together and by making sure that the crises that have been bedeviling the Osun State chapter of PDP in the last three years come to an end.
