The annual SSA for GSM Competition is set to begin this December , The First Runner Up will go home with 100k, Second Runner Up will take 50k, while the event winner will go home with 150k. Best player of the tournament, highest Goal scorer, and best Goalkeeper will be rewarded.
SSA for GSM is organised by Hon Segun Sheriff Adesina to promote the government of Governor Seyi makinde, while hunting for raw talent’s that will inturn make great impacts in the football game. The event will hold at the Federal Corporative College Eleyele.

This is to inform the general public that the Annual Christmas/New Year SSA Football Competition among youth representatives of the 11 Wards in Ibadan Northwest Local Government Area of Oyo State will hold between December 12 and 20 2021, at the Federal Cooperative College Playing Ground, Eleyele, Ibadan, beginning from 1pm each day.
Sponsored by Hon. Segun Sheriff Adesina (a.k.a SSA) to promote unity, peace and development in the Local Government Area, the competition, which began two years ago, is also geared towards complementing the effort of our amiable, dynamic and visionary Governor, His Excellency, Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde in the areas of Sports Development and Youth Empowerment.
Highlights of this annual ‘festival of football’ include the conferment of honorary awards on eminent dignitaries from all walks of life for their contributions to Youth Empowerment and Sports Development in Ibadan Northwest LGA, Oyo State and Nigeria at large. International Scouts will also be on hand to identify and groom outstanding talents for potential careers abroad.
Individual awards shall be presented to the best player, highest goal scorer and best goalkeeper in the competition. In addition, cash rewards of N150, 000, N100, 000 and N50, 000 awaits the winner of the competition as well as the first and second runners up respectively.
