Member of the House of Representatives representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Hon. Prince Olaide Akinremi has commiserated with the good people of Ogbomoso over the transition of His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Oladunni Oyewumi Ajagungbade III CON, CFR, the Soun of Ogbomosoland, following public announcement earlier today.
Prince Olaide Akinremi stated that the now transited Soun was a highly revered and respected monarch not only within Ogbomosoland and Oyo state, but well across the country, as he was a King with well documented virtues, values and history.
“His transition is a huge loss to Oyo State, considering his wealth of experience with which he guided several prominent sons and daughters of the state who has been in positions of power and authority”, Hon. Olaide Akinremi asserted.
Hon. Jagaban went further to say that the exited Kabiyesi was a man of great influence, who was also an important stabilizing factor in his terrain, and one whose long, eventful and blissful reign will be fondly remembered and missed by all.
Conclusively, Prince Olaide Akinremi prayed for the soul of the departed Soun Oladunni Oyewumi Ajagungbade III, while also offering prayers for the good people of Ogbomosoland in this peculiar time.

Micheal Adegbuyi, Media Aide to Hon. Prince Olaide Akinremi (Jagaban).
