In a Statement he signed and made available in Ibadan, Chief Ilaka describe the reign of the Monarch as era filled with glorious moment’s in Ogbomoso Land, Oyo state and Nigeria will never forget.
Baba’s Glorious 48years on the thrown was a glorious era in the history of Ogbomoso Land and Oyo State.
His Imperial Majesty was a true leader, a father to all, and a Successful Business tycoon who during his reign brings economic development to ogbomoso.
We can only take solace in the many economic developmental milestones baba’s reign has brought to mankind.
Oba Oyewumi’s passage is a rude shock, he has left a great vacuum among the traditional rulers in Yorubaland.
Ogbomosoland has lost a quintessential Oba who distinguished himself as a true heir to the throne of his ancestors.
His Imperial Majesty’s experience was required by all and sundry, He will be greatly missed. May his soul rest in peace.
